Reading profiles

Hi there,

Is is normal on this type of site to read profiles without being logged in? I noticed this when i was looking at the post about adding photo links to your profiles.
I know all the forums can be viewed without being logged in but profiles??
I visit one site where not all forums are public and you have an extra passcode to post there which is nice for photos etc

In all fairness, photos are not obligatory and are only added if the member feels comfortable with their image being on the site.
