Face feels hot to the touch but don't feel sick

I just touched my face and the room I'm sitting in is pretty cool and it feels hot to the touch. I feel fine otherwise but am a bit scared I'm going to get a fever or something like that. Should I go to the doctor? My mom took all the thermometers away because I get a bit obsessive about checking body temperature.

It's a very vague symptom. In actual fact, my face feels hot and I'm in a cool room. And I'm not just saying that. If you start to feel ill, that's when you go to the doctor.

This happens to me all of the time. I used to worry it meant I was running a low grade fever, but I've checked and it's normally right where it should be. Mine I believe is a combo of anxiety (gets way worse when I have high anxiety) and a food sensitivity (gets worse after I eat too much dairy).
