The Citalopram alone was not enough. It was only helping slightly, so the doctor added a second medication. I'm wondering if anyone else has this issue, or has had to add a second medication?

Hello.
It wasn't until I was prescribed 30mg citalopram and 20mg propanol did I start to feel like a 'normal' person and regain my confidence, personality and general ease with life again.

Thank you for responding. My doctor put my on nortriptyline 20MG. SO i'm hoping this will give the celexa the kick in the butt that it needs. I still have anxiety daily.
How is it going with the add on nortriptyline - are you finding yourself getting better.
