Hello, im a 23 male from Spain and I'm very worried, hope you can help me!
Last months I was very stressed about projects and also studies. All that stuff was not enough, so I also suffered a renal colic and an ankle sprain. During the ankle sprain I got a red hot lump in the calf. I was worried about the possibility of it being a thrombus which is very dangerous. I went to A LOT of doctors to check that (specialists), they did me an ecography, eco doppler, etc. Finally, the last traumatologist I visited told me to wear a compression sock and in 2 or 3 days, the lump disappared totally. My ankle sprain healed more or less fine.
When I thought I was done with all that thrash... boom! Next day I got a headache. No problem, I thought, let's just sleep and tomorrow I will be perfect. But no, the headache was still in my head. In fact, it is still here.
So I had it for a week, 7 days. The second day I went to the doctor (urgency service) and he told me that it maybe a headache and to get paracetamol and ibuprofenn. I did it for 2 days and it didn't work. That medicine didn't work at all with my headache. I went to the doctor again, he told me that maybe it was sinusistis so he told me to get acetylcysteine and metamizole. Also he told me to take, only if I couldnt resist the headache, omeprazol and Enantyum. I only took acetylcysteine and metamizole for the next days, not the others cuz my headache was soft (but constant).
The headache never stopped and that last medicines didn't help. I went again to another doctor and he told me I had a little cercival contracture, then he told me to put on my back anti inflamatory cream and also to take nolotil and paracetamol. Didn't help at all.
ANOTHER doctor told me that he thinks it is about stress because checked my blood and it was OK and he told me to go to the neurologist so I called a neurol. and that specialist will check me next thursday.
My symtomps are soft headache for an entire week in the forehead zone but I don't have additional symptomps like nausea, vomits, trouble with my vision... I DONT have any of that. Also, when I sleep I dont feel the pain at all and the pain doesn't wake me up. I usually start feeling the headache like 5 minutes after waking up from bed. I have noticed that in situations like going out with friends or swimming it almost disappear (maybe cuz im relaxed in that situations? I don't know).
The thing is that for the moment, nobody checked me with a CT Scan or a MR. So... ye, I checked Dr. Google and I'm worried as **** about cerebral tumor stuff. It's ****ing scary and I can't get it out of my mind.
I want to know if with that symtomps (a headache for a week) is possible to have something so serious? I dont have more symtomps but 0 medicines work on my headache and its being a long journey with it..... Im very nervous till my visit to the specialist (neurologist).
