    just took my first tablet

My doctor has added this to my Lexepro since I am still getting physical symptoms of anxiety. What can I expect from this med? I'm worried it will slow my heart rate too much. Normally, when anxious my heart rate is in the 90's, I took the med and it's now in the 60's and even dipped to 59 for a minute. Is this med safe? Please help... i'm a newbie at this med

Hi, how are you getting on? I have taken both Lexapro and Propranolol. I still had anxiety too whilst on the Lexapro. Propranolol does lower your heart rate but don't worry about it as your heart won't stop.I sometimes get a little low bp at times but nothing to worry about. Really hope you are getting on ok.

Sorry to respond so late. I have terrible anxiety (even on Lexepro). The prop didn't work for me. It gave me terrible headaches and made me feel weird. I also take Klonopin daily.
