    Vaginal muscle cramps

    Hi ladies

Has anyone ever sufferd from vaginal muscle cramps? I am assuming they 're anxiety related as i didn't have them whe l didn't have anxiety, but they wake me at night and are quiet comfortable. They go away one I relax or go to the toilet and have only happened on a few occasions.........?

Hi are you sure its anxiety. I have had it years not often but when I get it its very painful and I usually have to go for a wee, I am never 100% whether it in one place or the other, I was told its not anything to worry about so I don't I just find it not nice.
I have to walk about when I get it sometimes and even then it can be difficult to shift.

This can happen if you have hypertonic muscles in your pelvic floor which is probably linked to anxiety as you tense your muscles more.

I lay on the bed with my feet up on the wall and it helps.

So pleased I'm not alone in this - I feel bruised, as though i've been riding a bike all day. It comes and goes but this week ive had it for 4 days - highly anxious. I've had a total hysterectomy so not much to go wrong up there but the pelvic muscles hurt and it does worry me so much.
