Hi everyone .Today my throat is sore as well as the lump thing.My neck is sore to touch, all the throat cancer fears are back. I have an e. n. t appointment on 2July which Im pretty scaredof.Please can someone tell me of any thing similar Imogen

I have suffered with anxiety for nearly seven years and some of my symtoms are sore throat, lump in throat and tender at times. Try eating something and see if the lump and soreness goes.

It's probably just a throat infection, as that would hurt and make lymph nodes in your neck sore.

A lump in the throat is a really common anxiety symptom, something I've had myself from time to time, the rest sounds more like a throat infection-put the two together and there you are.
Cancer of any sort does not usually cause pain at the start.
