you begin to introduce yourself as 'Happyone' or whatever your username may be!
You say 'LOL' in stead of laughing when someone says something funny!
and you send a letter to your childs school and end it with
((((((((((((((((((Mr Smith)))))))))))))))))))!
anyone any others (the more ridiculous the better!)

....you try and work out which 'smilie' the person you are talking to resembles the most! (did this only yesterday!)
....someone asks how you got on in a particular situation and you reply, so nonchalantly, "yeah well, I JFDI didn't I?!!"
....you switch on the tv and spend ages looking for the 'log-in' box!
....you 'air-type' whilst talking to someone face to face!

Laughed when I read this thread cos a girl I work with has been corresponding with a few blokes on a dating website and one of them, after several emails, asked her if she'd like to meet for a drink.
She said she was tempted but wasn't sure how they'd get on face to face.
I said to her that it'd probably be ok cos the conversation would probably go something like:
Her: "smiley"
Him: "LOL"
Guess you had to be there!!
