Sore in mouth, could it be oral cancer

I notice a red dot like sore in the back of my mouth and the back of wisdom tooth. I had it like 3 weeks ago, i use to be able to feel like something was there, then i think it went away and now notice it again tonight. ahhhh i wish have health things to worry about all the time
Do i go to the dentist to get it check or the doctors
or just leave it even tho i am freaking out

It's probably just where a tooth is rubbing or something, but nothing wrong with going to the dentist to have it checked. Three weeks is a fair amount of time to wait.
