Hi HappyOne,

I get migraines too. I also used to see the aura and got extremely sick to my stomach when I was younger. I now only get them when it is going to rain, don't ask me why as I don't know! I take a med called relpax that works great for me and phenergan for the nausea. The relpax is not a pain killer it opens your arteries or something like that but works great. See if they have it over there. The phenergan you can't take if you have to work or drive you mostly have to go to bed with it. I have had migraines for 30 years ever since a car accident. I should become a weather gal as I can accurately predict the weather more than they can. If we can help with your worries let us know. Hoping you are having a better afternoon.

Hi laura,
Thanks. I am fine, I just have a friend who is a bit unwell just now but she seems a bit better today, honest I am fine.
I haven't had a migraine for ages, but weirdly I don't always get headaches! I sometimes just get flashing lights and nausea and sometimes a headache. This isn't a migraine though, it was purely tension from worrying about my friend, but now that I know she is a little better, the tension is easing. Thanks hun

Hi,
I am better today. My friend is much better today too so my tension headache is easing.
I think of this friend of mine as a sister almost and I worry about her so much when she is not well. (similar illness to me) I start worrying what I would do if she wasn't around as I can't ever imagine being without her.
But, no need to go down that train of thought cos she is here and she spoke to me today which was good!!
