Trash can lid fell on my neck

So on Sunday I went to take the trash out so when I threw the trash away a piece of jewelry fell off well I put my head in the trash can and let go of the lid and it fell right on my neck or the very bottom of my head and it hurt. But all my family is telling me is that I'm fine and nothings wrong. But I think I need others opinions. And let me remind you that this trash can lid was plastic and not very hard

It takes a lot more force than that to cause any real damage. You would know if you had done anything serious.

Yeah I figured that I'm just sore now which I guess it's normal but it just scared me and it's been on my mind all week so I just thought I would post about it
