Hi all. The doctor put me on Lyrica after I demanded him to do so after reading so many good things about it in threads on here. I'm on the maximum dose of 600mg.
I keep getting little flashes in the corner of my eyes. Is this normal?
Thanks

600 as a starting dose or are you on this a while?
I am on 300 and haven’t experienced this
I've been on it for around 3 months. Im on that dose due to a spine injury that incurred when I was a kid, fell high up from a tree. Just getting a weird flash in the corner of my eye.
You should have your eyes checked, as a precaution. Flashes are often a sign of normal ageing of the vitreous, and not so serious, but (with less frequency) a sign of retinal detachment, which needs immediate medical attention.
I'm also ill and bed ridden with a virus, could that be the cause? Felt like death when I woke up this morning and took my pregabalin and feel a little better, does pregabalin help fight off viruses? Or is it like paracetamol and just helps mask the feeling? Because I feel better after taking it but only get the little eye flashes in my eye after taking it.
Thanks
