    new diagnosis and meds

hi iv just been given a new diagnosis, my initial one which they stood by for years was severe anxiety disorder/depression and agrophobia but after appointment with psychiatrist 2 weeks ago he has diagnosed me with dysthymia, complex ptsd and impulse control disorder so is taking me off all antidepressants which I've been on for years and im going to be put on mood stabilisers which I know nothing about, so just wondering if anybody has any info/experience with my new diagnosis conditions and experience of mood stabilisers?

    Re: new diagnosis and meds

Hi, I'm not of any help but just wanted to wish you luck. It's great that they think they now have the correct diagnosis, I did think you had to wean off antidepressants though, not sure how correct that is though. xx
