Had to go to hospital and coped

On friday I was brushing my cat,to help her out as she gets fur balls.Well she bit me on the arm and left a tooth mark On saturday night the area she bit became hot painfull and swollen and very itchy.My family suggested I go to A & E,well I didnt want to go,but my partner took me.I coped really well.I did get anxious but I managed not to panic.Luckily A & E was not busy and I didnt have to wait.They put me on a course of antibiotics incase in becomes infected,which they dont think will.Its just swelling that usualy comes up in the first 24 hrs.This time last year I would have been in an awful state having to go to hospital,my partner stayed with all the time.Thats what you get for trying to help your cat!!!!!!!

Hospitals are always crappy, i just have too see a hospital sign and i get all anxious!!!!

Well done Ellen

Its quite common to swell up if you get a cat scratch or bite!!!

You did right to have it checked tho cos you can get something called cat scratch fever which isent dangerous but uncomfy
