Hi everyone,

I’ve had a really rubbish time recently and have felt myself slipping back into old anxious habits, coupled with seasonal depression creeping in. I suspect it’s a combo of this time of year as well as pushing myself way too hard at work and not letting myself take a break.

This evening I did 2 things that have really boosted my mood, wanted to share in case they help anyone else!

1. I did a short 20 min work out at home (have been too down and lethargic to work out for the past few weeks so this felt like a big achievement)

2. I decided to write a list of goals for 2018 (a little early I know!) I included a mix of things that would be easy, and things that would be a challenge. ‘Arrange more dates with my partner’ ‘swim in the sea’ ‘work out at least 3 times a week’
‘Go out with friends more often’ ‘learn when to take breaks from working’

Focusing on how I can make positive changes to my life next year has really boosted my mood this evening I hope this idea can help some of you! And I’d love to hear your goals for 2018, no matter how big or small!
