Morning diarreah

Does anyone else with ibs suffer this.

Feels like you still need to go to the toilet even when you've just been
Alternating between diarreah and constipation
Feel bloated
Sometimes cramp and stitch like pain in tummy once eaten.

Finding it hard to believe it's ibs and not stomach cancer

I have so many people tell me 'the less you worry, the better you'll feel'. WRONG!
Everyday when I eat I get this full feeling and just like I'm bloated. I wake up and dread those sulphur smelling burps (if I eat late at night). I just can't take the uncomfortable feeling I have. I've been told it's IBS but I don't believe it for one second. Nothing showed on blood test or stool test but I always tell myself because I've had no internal I know it's worse and they'll find something. I just can't cope anymore. :(

Common sense dictates not eating late at night. That's just asking for reflux and stomach issues.

As for your mindset? Words on a screen won't change that if medical professionals can't.

Hi!

Some of our friendly gut microbes produce sulfur compounds as part of their metabolism. It might just be a byproduct of your microbiota! Sulfur is also found in some vegetables (onions, garlic) and eggs so it could be diet related. Sulfur burps are also really common in people with IBS. Nothing to worry about!

So basically my aunt wants me to go and see her in Scotland next weekend. I'm just worried cause I'm not sure I could do the travel alone for fear of my bowels taking over or even panicking at the airport and needing to run. I really want t to go but not sure I'll feel well enough on the day and will just panic. How do I know I won't get anxious?

You could maybe take some immodium before you travel and maybe eat light on the day you leave.

Where in scotland does your aunt live? I'm in scotland.
