Emetophobia & Choking Question

I apologise as this is not a nice question,

I have emetophobia and I'm also afraid of choking. I think one of the reasons i'm afraid of choking is because my throat tightens with anxiety.

One of the things that worries me, is what if i'm sick and then my throat tightens while it's happening and then I choke, or choke to death.

Does anyone know if it's possible for my throat to tighten whilst I'm been sick?

Hi..

Without being too graphic. When you vomit, everything relaxes so it can come up easily. I doubt very much you'll choke.

Heth, have you had your thyrois checked. I ask because my thyroid is enlarged, so i feel like I have a constant lump in my throat! Get it checked..
Also, I dont eat un processed meats any more....it takes me to ling to chew LOL...I eat mince chicken and burgers etc!...
