[FONT="Arial Narrow"]Hey everyone. I just turned 17 and I suffer with extreme health anxiety and OCD. As bad as OCD is, health anxiety is rlly crippling. The other day, when I was having a bm, I passed some mucus. This wasnt a shock to me as its happened before and I assumed it couldve been IBS. However this time, there was 2-4 small specs of blood. They were about the size of a grain of table salt or smaller (like finely milled salt not sea salt!) Im not sure if it was blood or not but needless to say i panicked. If it makes a difference I am on sertraline (zoloft) its an SSRI and I think it can cause GI bleeding. SOMEONE PLEASE REPLY!IM TOO YOUNG TO DIE :((

If your not sure if it's blood or not, it probably isn't. Blood is normally very identifiable if you see it. Mucus is quite common in stools, so don't worry about it
