Hello from the western USA (PTSD, gad, severe depression)

    Hello,
I am a 20 something female from the western part of the United States.
I recently found out that I suffer from PTSD, general anxiety disorder, and severe depression.
I have children, am in the process of separating from my husband.
I am hoping to meet others like myself.
My anxiety is the worst at the moment.
I just got in to see a psychiatrist. I'm waiting on a doctor appointment to be put on the proper meds.
I don't have any extended family and minimal support so sometimes I feel very alone.
I can't sleep. If I eat I get sick. I'm trying to be the best parent I can but I feel like a failure.
I just want to feel like myself again.

    Thank you

I have dealt with all three and you are not alone. Please reach out if you feel you need to talk. And remember, no parent is perfect.

Hi Paincingalways! I struggle with feelings of inadequacy as a parent too, especially when health and anxiety issues become distracting. It's not easy. I hear you!
