How do I create a thread with a poll?

I am sure the answer to this question is in several places on the site but I can't find any of them.
How do you make a poll in a thread? I check the poll box and number of options box but nothing comes up in the preview of the thread.

The preview will not show the poll. To add a poll do the following

1) Create your post and tick the 'Yes, post a poll with this thread' checkbox.
2) Click on the 'Submit New Thread' button
3) You can then enter the poll qustions

If you want to test it then at the very bottom of the forum is a 'Testing Forum ' have a play in there first.
