Brown discharge

My period, if it shows up on time, isn't supposed to come until the 12th. But the past few days, when I wipe there's been brown discharge. Some times it's a darker brown and kind of mucus y. Is it old blood?

Probably old blood, if it's brown. Or could be ovulation bleeding.

Yeah, I was thinking it was old blood but then wiping and seeing really dark brown colored discharge with a jelly texture freaked me out.

If it's a jelly texture, that sounds even more like ovulation mucus! I'm sure that's all it is, or something equally benign.
