Yes good luck at the dentist Pulisa. So you're renting privately Carnation?

The normal notice is two months but I'll know more later today. There's absolutely nothing available to rent in the area we are in at present and I know we will be paying considerably more than we are now where ever we go.
Maybe we might get more time than the two months. I hope so.
Best of luck at the dentist today Pulisa xx
Thank you and I hope you get the true facts today re where you stand and what you need to plan for xx

    Yes, I'm privately renting fishman.

The landlord has been and gone. Nearly 2 hours.
Cleaning the bathroom was exhausting this morning in the heat!!!
He definitely wants to sell, not putting it on the market straight away but will be, I think after Christmas. I didn't push a sitting tenant sale but we did say how happy we were here. So we have time. I'm not going to jump into anything, unless something tempting comes up. As it stands there's nothing on at the moment. We do have time and I get the impression the landlord will try to see us set up with something.
I feel a little easier about it all for now.

2 hours…that’s a hell of a time with someone you don’t want in your house in the first place.

At least you’ve been given a long time to get used to it and you don’t have to make a panicked move. I don’t know about the rental market but the housing market in general is in the doldrums. Nothing is coming on the market. I think the future is too uncertain for people with the COL crisis.

It’s a shame though, because I think you’ve been happy there.

Glad you've got some clarity and that the landlord is being decent. "After Christmas" could mean the Spring? He could change his mind when no one has any capital to buy houses due to the CoL crisis?

Another 30 mins worth of treatment at the dentist to file down the tooth above the offending one which had a sharp point and was digging into whatever was below..Wish this could have been spotted last week but fingers crossed..Thanks for asking xx

How annoying for you Pulisa. Something as simple as that wasn’t spotted.
