Went back to the shop to get the cake I missed out on yesterday. Anxiety was high because I had a headache and was aware of another aura coming, but it didn't come and the headache went. Think it might have been to do with the weather it was so humid and there was a heavy mist over the sea. Still quite warm for the time of year.
On the move front, I'm doing quite well with the packing, although the house looks like Amazon's factory floor. No news of a date yet. sigh.
Had the biggest clear out ever with about 7 car loads to the charity shop.
    Hope everyone else doing ok.
Seems quiet on here these days.

    Hi Carnation....
What kind of cake did you treat yourself too, a nice chocolate cream cake maybe?....

I can understand the anxiety being up with the headache, it’s still a raw memory at the moment but gradually that will fade into the back ground till eventually when you get a headache you’ll just have a couple of painkillers and get on with things, give it time Carnation, like I said it’s early days yet and the memory is still present...

It is quite warm here, sun trying to pop out now and again, got washing out, trying to make the most of it before the rain comes tomorrow and next week....

I bet the charity shop was over the moon with all the stuff you took, it’s a good feeling knowing your doing your bit and helping others....

I noticed Darksky and Fishman have been missing for a while, probably been busy....

I hope your feeling good today Carnation xxxxx

    Hi YNWA

The cake was apple and cream sponge.
I do like chocolate cake but thought I didn't need to add to the adrenaline. And apple is more healthy lol.

I'm sure you're right about time passing and easing the worry as I say it so much myself. It's just a little embarrassing if one of those auras pops up when I'm out and about because I can barely see!
It's strange because I've had such stressful news this week and I didn't have one. But my new worry now is collapsing from a HA. Don't you just love health Anxiety, there's always another thing to worry about waiting in the wings.

You're doing lots of washing YNWA, actually so am I.
There's a spell of rain on its way.

I'm OK didn't sleep bad, didn't sleep brilliantly but I'll take a not bad for now.
Hope you have a good day YNWA xxx

My apologies guys for my silence of late. I'm very pleased to see you all soldiering on and tackling your respective challenges.

Carnation, you're doing incredibly well in dealing with something that is not only highly anxiety-inducing but protracted too. Moving house is something I dread, hopefully it won't be too bad for you when it comes to it. Usually with anxiety, it's the anticipation. But you are experiencing high anxiety now and still getting jobs done.

Catkins that is remarkable and a huge achievement!! Taking exams is challenging even without anxiety. Well done!!

Also JHR, Darksky, Poppy and YNWA, you all do really well too in dealing with your own problems head on.

As for me, well these are difficult times. Losing Dad last December, Mrs F having grade 3 bordering grade 4 liver cirrhosis and not knowing how long she'll be around for. And the latest is putting up a fence on the right hand side looking down the garden. And while I'm quite capable of putting up a fence, the couple in that property can be 'difficult'. Petty would be a better word. Which increases anxiety when it need not.

But some people you just can't change. They're both small (apologies in advance to anyone here who may be), while I'm 6ft 3. I'm not sure its that though, who knows?

I think you are doing really well Carnation, as YNWA says time will pass and the memory will fade.

We've had a couple of nice days here but earlier in the week I had to put a vest on it was so cold. The weather is all over the place.

Good to hear from you, Catkins.

Hot and humid is the worst, Carnation. I'm ready for some real fall weather! I bought a new raincoat today and really want to go out and use it. That sounds like an interesting (and delicious!) cake.

That is a kind comment, Fishman. I'm sorry for your troubles, and awful neighbors really can be the worst. Just go out there and stand as tall as you can, that'll show 'em.

    I'm OK thanks JHR x

Thank you poppy, fishman, catkins and YNWA for your praise and encouraging words xxxx

I feel like I'm in nowhere land at the moment.
My head is full of moving and stuff that goes with that.
I'm sitting in a lounge with boxes almost to the ceiling and staring at empty cupboards and shelves. I've still got an area which is like my cocoon in front of the TV but it's obvious when I look around the room that it is no longer a home but a waiting area with no timetable.
Anxiety has been relatively fair considering and if it wasn't for the aura / migraine episode I would be far more confident and thoughts wouldn't hinder my day so much.
Health Anxiety sucks and you guys understand that.
We all do so well coping with life issues that the normal people in this world will never begin to understand.
