Do you remember the answer phone machines and you could get recordings of famous people to answer like Chris Eubanks, Frank Bruno, Arnie, even the Queen? Or was it just me who did silly things like that? On second thoughts, don't answer that.

Ha ha yes I do. We should have a thread for us oldies. Do you remember the 70/80s.

I thought my trim phone was the dogs doodahs. Far better than those square things , even its ring was different/better.
But in reality today's are better, with built in answer machines, call blocking systems etc. It's just that those rosy coloured specs fit us extremely well

Hi everyone...

Xray went well, was shaking like a jellyfish, but dr said its a lot better that last week, only need to keep collar and cuff on for another week then I can begin to try and move it again but it’s still very very sore and my arm is black, he said soreness will last a bit but by New Year’s Eve should be a lot better, I don’t have to go back but if I need physio he will arrange it. Thank you all for your concern and well wishes....

Talking of phones I never had a trim phone, wasn’t as posh as you...mine was just a bog standard red one...and if you wanted to lock it from the kids you had to buy a little lock and key that went in the dialling thingy in number 1 then nobody could dial any numbers...

Dear God, the Kevin Keegan perm......ok I had one coupled with an Afghan coat, cheesecloth shirt, and flared jeans. Love beads and smelling of Coty Wild Musk oil. Oh and Jesus sandals on my feet.
On my turn table was Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin and I burnt jos sticks in my room.

There now.... what a state.. but they were happy days

I was more the floaty dresses, dungarees, tank top, Bell bottoms with Cork wedge shoes with a handmade outfit Bay City Roller style.
Punk soon changed that though.
