    Try this tip....

    Having a bad thought?
Grab it with a fist and chuck it over your shoulder....

No nets here or blinds. My mother has them ( nets) I’m not sure why, she isn’t overlooked too much. I don’t even close our curtains at night. Well except when it gets cold so we can keep the heat in.

Thats a good tip Mrs.C. Do something physical with the thought.
And I think you did right Poppy. You never know and this is by far the best way. If you feel uncomfortable with something, stop it in its tracks.
Nice and sunny here. I’m looking forward to the heatwave. 23 degrees but that will be in the south I reckon. Warm but not hot.

I thought something was coming this weekend?

Or maybe just the media being dramatic again.

Going to be hot here this weekend. But I think it's supposed to cool down after that and hopefully stays cooler. I'm putting together a baby shower for one of my friends for next weekend and I have a cute new sweatshirt I really want to wear. So hopefully it is chilly enough.

I'm a little bitter this morning - I walk to work and they shut down this lighted crosswalk I normally use to cross into campus. It will be closed for weeks. So I have been crossing a block over at a busier crosswalk. It's been fine, but this morning I very narrowly missed being hit by a car that ran the red light. I don't think I can cross there anymore, so I'm going to have to walk several blocks out of my way to a quieter one.

    But at least it's Friday!

Hi Carnation, I do that tip sometimes but I don’t chuck it over my shoulder I open the bin and chuck it in there..

Poppy....I’m a bit up and down at the moment but I know the reason, but thank you for asking, how are you doing... You be careful crossing those roads, it doesn’t matter if you have to walk a little further just as long as your safe...there are some idiotic drivers out there...

its been a lovely day here too, breezy but not cold, a good washing day....xxx

Aww poppy, you are getting things thrown at you left, right and centre at the moment. Here's a hug
    Definitely find a quieter route.

Chucking those bad thoughts in the bin sounds good to me YNWA my bin always seems full, maybe that's why

Yes, darksky, it's this weekend, the weather boom of sunshine and heat. It was quite warm today and after a jittery morning I took myself to the flower garden. Didn't realise how long I was there, lol.
This is what I ended up with.

    They look lovely Carnation!

I like the throwing away idea. I started a new kundalini yoga class a few weeks ago and early in the class we spend about 5 minutes (with music) randomly shaking out all over our bodies, it's like a random frantic dance but it really helps get out all my tension/anxiety. I might incorporate throwing stuff away in that.
