I'm so sorry to hear this very sad news Carnation. You are no doubt feeling that connection with your own Mum, it would only be natural at such a time. I remember losing my Mum in 1998 and can only empathise with what you and Mr C are going through. But you will survive this, both of you will. In my thoughts

MrC will have a great support in you. As others have said it's only natural to think of those you lost on top of this one but I have no doubt in my mind MrC will be put first and supported through this though time.
