    Brilliant catkins
I wonder what else you can get dual controlled? Lol

It wasn't so frosty this morning but tonight is going to be our coldest so far. I've got a sore throat from all the sinus drainage and coughing so I'll be avoiding going out until it's a reasonable 5/6c.
This week I've OD'd on the Christmas films and I'm so bored with them. Decorations are up because I needed something to do being stuck indoors so much.
No gardening to do now, so I'm searching for bits to do apart from cleaning the house.

Well this is a view of our pond and waterfall in our back garden. It really came down after 6pm.20231203_042208.jpg

    Snow it certainly isn’t Fishman.

Loads here as well in the Welsh Marches. It started last evening and kept on and on. I got a tad over excited. It does that to me.

This morning Mr.D was happy. He got the snow shovel out and spent a contented hour or so clearing it so we can get to my mother this afternoon. I marzipaned the Christmas cake. The birds are feeding well off the feeders and in the snow we saw a cat has tracked its way to our front door. I know it was the tabby from up the lane but I announced Sam had come back in the night to see us. Mr.D being as mad as me was calling ‘Sam!’ as he was shovelling. Lunatics.

It peaked at 0.5 for us. The last few days it has been down to about -1. There was no wind so it actually felt quite mild in the middle of the night.

Just a bit off topic here, but does anyone know what happened to NoraB?
I just saw the birthday post for Pulisa, and couldn't help but think of her as she used to be so helpful! And she talked me off a ledge plenty of times!
But I saw her last post was months ago. I assume she, like many others, got a bit annoyed over time and maybe needed their own mental health break from this forum?
But I think of her often. And I hope she's doing ok!

Sparkling fairy, I think she was taking a break.
She's done this several times before and for a long period.
I could do with someone talking me off the ledge.
I won't post on this thread but the details are on my sinuses thread.

What you doing wearing slippers Terry, a cool man like you
Darksky, the birds are literally queuing for our bird feeder. A lovely dove manages to wedge her /himself in there which is fascinating to watch.
