So I was walking at night near my university and suddenly I saw a stray dog near me (Could be a domesticated dog as well, but I'm not sure). I don't recall he actually biting or licking me, but I wasn't paying that much attention. He licked a bag I was carrying though. After half an hour I touched the bag with my hands and washed them afterwards. Half hour later I made a large cut in my hand (which could have some dog saliva in it and so saliva would enter the wound). Am I at risk for rabies? I guess the worst part is not remembering exactly what happened when I was near the dog, I wasn't paying attention.
