    5 weeks and still nothing

So that's 5 weeks today and I have still hears nothing back from my smear test. The nurse did tell me 4-6 weeks but I'm still so anxious with all this waiting. It feels like it's been forever.

The anticipation is a killer, isn't it? Just remember that statistically your smear will probably be clear. And in the small number of women who do have an abnormal smear the overwhelming likelihood is that it will just be CIN, which is easily treatable or may need no treatment. Plus, if you had a horrible looking smear you'd probably hear more quickly! No news is good news.

Maybe you could even give them a ring. I'm not sure if it would speed things up, but it's worth as shot!

I got my result yesterday and it was all normal
I was just over 5 weeks. Apparently in Scotland it's 4-6 weeks xxx
