Streak of blood in mucus

This is my first time posting. I have had a problem that is worrying me. Here goes. I pass mucus with my stool I’m thinking because I have ibs. Anyway recently there is sometimes a small streak of blood in it. I obsess over this and look at my poop with a torch I’m embarrassed to say. I am so scared I have bowls cancer. Can anyone relate to this or give me some advise please

You do need to see your Dr for any bleeding from the bowel. It could be something simple like hemorrhoids or a fissure or even inflammation.
