Blood tests

Would a blood test (done in A&E) indicate if a cancer were present? I have been doing so well with my HA for the past few months but am now ill again but nobody seems to know what it is. A&E gave me antibiotics having said all is fine (???) and my GP has my results back but will not be giving me my phone appointment for another 2 weeks!

Also a couple of different doctors over the past 9 months have said they have found blood in my urine dips - but no action has been taken? The first time, the doctor said that as I had previously had a thorax, abdo, pelvic CT scan done (for possible internal bleed relating to anaemia) that didn't show anything up I didn't need an ultrasound...
