I am trying to find the courage to take an overdose.
That’s not good - any triggers? What’s making you feel/think this way? Have you spoke to crisis team? You need help as it is obvious your med regime is not working at this moment in time.
Do not make a permanent decision based on a temporary emotion.
Please re consider and try to keep busy, surround yourself with people.

You're kind. I will try the team.
I too have been there myself so know what you are going through this was a couple of months ago but you too can get through this, and think of the people you will leave behind. Things will get better for you that I am sure Hang on in there ATB
Hi Sorry you are feeling so bad.
Here is a list of resources that you can try but the crisis team should be your first port of call.
Hope you feel better soon.

Although NMP is a Support site, just a reminder that we are not equipped to deal with the topic of suicide, we appreciate you ‘reporting’ a thread if you feel it isn’t suitable for the forum.

Thank you to everyone. I rang the crisis team who told me to put on some make up and Skype my daughter. I could no more do that than fly to the moon. A charity called The Listening Place is going to ring me this afternoon at 2.30. I will wait until then. I was better off all medication. I have a medical review on Tuesday if I can wait until then. Maybe they can taper off the drugs with diazepam which is the only thing which cslms me a tiny amount. I want to try ECT.
That's not very helpful to say that is a totally fruitless exercise. Hope the phone call goes ok for you this afternoon. Hmm not so sure about ECT for your problem Years ago when to visit a friend in hospital after his treatment he didn't even know me yes it does wear off, I would consider some other less invasive therapy tbh with you speak to your Dr ATB
We all look for a quick fix with mental health when really our mental health has deteriorated over a significant amount of time which sets up a very long n painful road to recovery.
If these thoughts are becoming really bad and you want to mix up your meds then the following could suit :
‘The first FDA-approved medication with an antisuicide indication was clozapine’
Also
Lithium can reduce suicidal tendencies in bipolar patients...
ECT is for severe treatment resistant cases so you are going to have to go through the medical Merry go round first...
