Coordination problems and confusion starting sertraline

Hey, anyone else had this? I saw that they're symptoms of serotonin syndrome, but doctor said not to worry.

Feels like my arms are not mine at all, speech feels slurred, hand movements and position feel strange, cold all over body, very confused.
Has happened both times I started sertraline.

What does are you at and what other meds are you taking on top of it. You can check the medicine interactions at drugs.com. You probably won't be suffering from serotonin syndrome with just the sertraline alone, unless you taking a hefty dose. It sounds a lot like panic attack. Did you doctor inform you that sertraline could increase your symptoms for the first few weeks of taking it?
