    Dry Nasal Passages

Been on Zoloft for about two weeks now and every morning I'm waking up with dry eyes, mouth, nose, and throat. Is this a side effect?

We've been running the humidifier to help.

Also, been yawning like crazy and feeling run down/tired. Was feeling very tired before medication.

Wondering if I should continue to take it as prescribed or try to wean off of it due to side effects.

Dry mouth is listed as a side effect in the information leaflet. Sugar-free gum or sweets maybe helpful.

There’s some info on possible side effects and on how to cope with them on: https://beta.nhs.uk/medicines/sertraline

I have the same thing with amitriptyline. I take one 10mg at night.
I used to love a cup of tea, but cannot drink it now. I am sure it's the medication does something to my taste buds .
