So sorry about this sad news. Does put our lives and struggles into perspective but doesn't make it any easier, Cmrd P. Hope seeing GP was constructive and helpful?

Thank you. It's all very shocking and not something I can elaborate on here but I appreciate your kindness.

The GP appt was appallingly bad but to be expected. I'm not going again. Fortunately I'm in the hospital system now.

    Sorry to hear that Pulisa.
I hear nothing but disappoint from GP visits lately.
I hope you can get some chill time, you so need a break from all your recent traumas. xx

Just an update. Am having thyroid surgery on Wednesday as the biopsy results weren't great. I'm not going to elaborate because it's not fair on an anxiety website but of course I'm scared.

Anyway no other choice but to get on with it!!

I purposely didn't want to keep badgering you on your thread, because I know you like to have as much normality in your life as possible and reminders of waiting for news /updates can bring you down.
But I am sad to hear that it has come to an Op, but at the same time, I feel a relief that something is being done and quickly so you can recover and be healthy and relieved of the 'what Ifs'.
I know you must be scared and even the 5 day run up will be sending your anxiety through the roof, but until then Pulisa, please take advantage of the many members /friends on here that can support you or even take your mind away from the worrying.
We will be with you every step of the way and you need to know that. xx

Pulisa will get through it, she is made of stern stuff, and despite being terrified she has one quality that sets her aside - she never gives in!
