Help please! Want to stop!

Morning

I’ve been taking sertraline for 5 days (today will be day 6) and I’m in a massive panic about continuing. Day 1 was horrible and the next few days were ok. I took it yesterday and had a bad panic attack and diarreah. This morning I’ve woken with heightened anxiety wondering if I should carry on this tablet or just stop now: I don’t know what to do.

Will I get withdrawals if I stop now?

I just need some advice on what to do.

I don't know anything about this particular drug. I can see you are struggling though and feel desperate for an answer - why not ring your pharmacist and see what they say or your GP ?

I tried to ring my GP today for 45 minutes in the time window you are supposed to call and was constantly engaged. I don’t know what to do

Can you not leave a message with the receptionist asking for a duty doctor to call you back ?
