Sertraline - still waiting....

I'm wondering if your dose is too high?
I've been on 50mg for 3 years with great results.
I'm just changing over to Lexapro because I'm sick of the weight gain on Sertraline.
If it wasn't for that I'd be staying on it.

My GP assures me this is a mid range dose. He did say that we are all different in our response to the drug. I had/have severe anxiety so perhaps I require more. It’s a shame this whole SSRI business is full of guesswork, even from the professionals.

How will you go about switching to lexapro? Cross taper?

Yep it's all trial and error unfortunately.
I started cross taper today.
25mg Sert and 5mg Lexapro for 2 weeks then 10mg Lexapro.
