For the past month I have been having gastritis/ulcer symptoms. The main symptom has been this near constant hunger that will come back only after a few hours of eating. In addition, there are hunger pangs too. Some burping and bloatedness.
I went to the doctor last month and he put on a month of Prilosec otc. That helped but the hunger pangs still continued although less severe.
My doctor ordered a h. pylori breath test for me to see if I have it
Does this sound like h. pylori to any of you? It feels like a slightly burning gnawing pain If I go without food.
How could I have gotten h. pylori? I have heard a lot of people have it but it doesn't manifest usually but it is the main cause of gastritis/ulcers.
