I've done a search on here for previous threads but couldn't find a great deal about this hence the new post.
I've been on 75mg for 10 years and am finally attempting to withdraw for the first time. I'm a bit nervous as I've heard some really bad stuff but am hoping to hear some good stories.
Today I've halved my does to 37.5 x 1 as advised by my doctor. This will continue for 2 weeks when I will then miss a day and have 2 days on. This is for 2 weeks when I will then miss 2 days and have 1 on etc.
The full length of withdrawal is 9 weeks.
I am absolutely FINE with this as I'd rather do it sensibly and suffer minimal side effects. I've heard a fair few horror stories about horrendous withdrawals but some, to my absolute shock, have involved complete withdrawal. Simply missing a day of Efexor gives me horrendous brain zaps so I've no idea how anyone would even contemplate this!
Has anyone tried this method?
