Invisible Bats and Rabies Fear

Hi! I am new to the site. Long time OCD sufferer. Today I saw 2 small scabs side by side and possibly a third one on my wrist. In the middle of the night I felt a stab, I think it was a cat claw but I cant be sure as I did not check for the source!! I have been obsessing over having been bitten by a bat.

I of course want to rush to the Emergency Room to get rabies shots. How do I get past this anxiety??

I think that if writing all that out did t help you rationalise your thoughts, then not a lot I say will help.

Is this a common fear for you or a new one? Do you get any help for your anxiety?
