Hey everyone, my name is Jason call me JT, I’m 30 and I’ve been suffering with HA for over 3 years now. My sufferable journey started when I discovered a small lump on my inner thigh which turned out to be a tiny cyst but of course burrowed deep in my self-conscious was a nagging voice that what I really had was the dreaded ‘C’.
Ever since, I’ve had just about every symptom you can imagine in such a short space of time compared to a lot of you who’ve been suffering for well over a decade it would seem, I don’t know how you’ve coped for so long! Another big fear of mine was DVT when I convinced myself that a tight calf muscle caused by cramp was in fact a deadly blood clot waiting to fill my lungs, this consumed my life for months until a round of physio sorted it out in no time.
My current dread is colorectal cancer as I’ve recently been diagnosed with IBS but we can’t believe that now can we? 😂 so yeah it’s started again but I’m sure it will pass, like all of you here I want to make friends and meet like-minded people. So I mean it when I say, if you have any worries, symptoms, fears and you feel you have nowhere to turn, I’m here to listen and share my experiences with you. People underestimate HA and the absolute demon baggage that it really is, let’s help each other through it.
