only 2? I've had runs of them. It's very common to have multiple ectopics if you have anxiety.

I've struggled with ectopics for 5 years. Ectopics/Skipped heart beats/Palpitations are all very common in people with anxiety. The first question you should ask is when do you feel these more, in the morning? in the middle of the day? at night? does anxiety accompany these ectopics? do you have digestive problems? (Look up links and connections between the stomach and heart, specifically the Vagus Nerve). Have you spoken with your doctor about them? Here's the facts: Ectopics happen to EVERYBODY. even those without anxiety, they are very normal. The only reason you don't hear everyone complaining about them , is because normally you don't feel them. However, people with health anxiety are hyper aware of what's happening to their body and health. You concentrate on it, therefore it will make what you're feeling, feel 100x worse than what it actually is. No ones heart is perfect, imagine your heart as an orchestra. 50 people are playing music perfectly in harmony, then 1 person goes off beat and throws everyone else off. that is exactly what is happening during an ectopic, and your heart is flawless at recovering. If your heart is structurally normal, you would need thousands and thousands and thousands of ectopics PER day continuously to MAYBE do small damage in a span of years and years and years. Again, consult your doctor about these problems you've been having, none of us are professionals, doctors spend 8 years in medical school and then usually have countless years of experience under their belt of understanding people just like me and you. If you're THAT worried about your heart, make sure its structurally normal, and if it is then you have no reason to be anxious about ectopic beats anymore.
