    Increase dosage on certain days

I am on 20mg and recently feel like I need an increase.

However I am worried double dosage at 40mg would be too much in terms of side affects.

Has anyone discussed with their GP alternating 40mg/20mg every other day to achieve more like 30mg?

Why is there no 30mg in the uk??

Re: Increase dosage on certain days

It is licensed in the UK for 30mg. It will be specific manufacturers though.

It's also licensed for 10 & 20. A GP can always prescribe one of each together.

Alternating doses may mean it's hard to know what you are getting since it will never reach steady-state beyond the 20mg you have stabilised at and any dose above that won't be effectively stable. This could mean side effects.
