Long time reader, first time posting

First and foremost I just want to say thank you to everyone on here. You guys truly rock and have helped me so much already.

I'm 27, almost 28 years old, and I've always been a bit "high strung" about things, and would always catastrophize situations. I've also always been hyper focused on things (for example- when I got interested in nail polish I gradually accumulated over 150 bottles).

Then about a year ago I started to get really focused on my health. First I was worried that I had a heart issue, then some kind of neurological issue a la MS or ALS, then a brain tumor, then colon cancer, and now I'm back to my heart. I do have Cerebral palsy and that probably contributes to many of my twitches and aches. FINALLY started going to therapy in about 10 months ago and that has helped some, but I'm not making progress as quickly as I'd like (I was hoping I'd go once and be cured :P).

Anyway, this is me!

I think it's probably much healthier to obsess over nail polish than illnesses, but it's never quite as simple as just "stopping" once the HA Beast has you in its jaws.
