boil down under

hi everyone,

so the title says it all really.

I have a huge boil about 2cm in width down below, I'm assuming from shaving as it appeared on.monday the day after. it's sore when I'm sitting, and the area surrounding feels bruised too. I was googling home remedies, wasn't expecting anything severe to pop up, low and behold it did. sepsis sepsis sepsis. 1 of my biggest fears in sepsis. all I had wanted was a bit of relief, instead I'm in a frenzy.

I have also developed a bit of a productive cough too which I'm worried is the infection spreading. no temp and I'm feeling ok in myself, however I can't stop worrying!

I have never heard of anyone getting sepsis from a boil to be honest.

no well it hasn't even crossed my mind up until I was looking for home remedies. hurt like he'll but popped now x

You can go to the doctor and get it looked at, they may give you antibiotics.

Otherwise, maybe a salt bath?
