For some reason my stomach doesn’t feel quite right.. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a little nervous and I had half a pizza and a glass of Dr Pepper- but I went to toilet about an hour ago and I’m still feeling uneasy

I just know something terrible will happen on this holiday, I’m quite sad to be leaving what’s been my safety zone since November and my mum too

Then you shouldn't complain that your stomach doesn't feel "quite right". If you eat unsuitable or triggering foods you suffer consequences. You have been told this over and over again.

And you're not a child any more. You should explain to your mum that pizza is not good for your IBS symptoms. I'm sure she would understand and cook you something else.

Honestly, I think it’s more because I’m anxious about going on holiday and I’m just feeling sad about my life and situation in general, I feel like everyone around me is excited to go and I’m just there feeling miserable- I just feel so removed from life now and also doomed by my bowels

That much is understandable, Toby. But once you're there, you MUST make the effort to enjoy yourself. You're just dooming yourself otherwise and that would be a shame after travelling all that way.

I kinda want to just say “Can I say at home” but that would be a huge waste of money so they wouldn’t let that happen. But I’m already struggling without even being at the airport... thanks for the kind words anyway
