And triggers can be subtle. Whilst that fear is there it's easy to trigger. After lots of recovery work it might be mothballed completely so it is no longer used for comparison by the subconscious. Dismantling fears takes time. But the more you work towards that the less severe the blips get. But don't think a few weeks without means it's not in the background if you haven't sorted out your fears beforehand. Some people on here have cyclic issues and some of us have more constant ones (even when further in recovery, we just have it lower level).
Yeah. I did some reading on the subconscious and dreams and everything, and how dreams affect the subconscious. I feel like I'm waiting for the blood to stop, so I can move on but it won't probably as long as I still have harder motions, which you guys think is aggravating piles or just causing friction/cuts in my rectum. But isn't it possible that a harder stool could also scrape against a polyp or tumour, causing it to bleed? Or would that bleed anyway?

I'm just so scared :( every time I try to enjoy myself or take time to relax, the fear comes back and it's so convincing

I would love for them to do that, but they explained that first they'd have to refer me to see a specialist who then decide whether to do a big procedure like that, and they wouldn't. Especially as I've already seen one, and he said it was piles but y'know what anxiety is like, I'm just not convinced because it was only a rigid sigmoidoscopy

I do not see that request being granted. Toby has been given a diagnosis and has been prescribed cream to help with the piles, which to date I have not heard him say that he has used it.

Also his HA will move onto something else and from past experience it will be as all consuming as this fear.

Sorry Toby, the answer to this lies in therapy and continuing to engage in things non bowel related, which I believe deep down you know yourself.

Sigh, back to this now... of course once I solve one problem (tooth pain) another rears its ugly head...

I basically haven't passed a bowel movement since Tuesday- 4 days ago

Should I be worried? It's not like I have stomach ache or anything but one hasn't naturally come

Oh never mind, I managed to go at last

I should probably say there was some blood

But the stools were small and hard and extremely difficult to pass and caused significant pain

And there were some blood traces on the tissue too

So that means it's probably from the rectum

    Re: Blood in stool!

It sounds like constipation. Drink lots of water or/and fruit juice and you’ll be back to normal soon.

It's your diet Toby. Always has been.

I guess so.. I was extremely constipated. It was incredibly difficult to pass, and there was a little blood on the toilet paper

The thing is, the colour of the blood varies so much... sometimes it's bright red and I see a bit (a small trace) on the paper and sometimes it appears to be richer and on the stool only... why does it vary so much? Could the richer blood be from a tumour and brighter red blood be from a fissure/hemherroids?

Can we play something else soon? This isn't much fun to be honest.
Your diet is crap, your personal hygiene and routine is a mess, your interaction with others consists of trying to convince strangers that your shoddy lifestyle is actually a serious medical condition.
Grow up, sort out the basics, stop asking the same questions.

You had the exact same fears as me. How would you have reacted to being told to 'grow up'? Don't judge me so easily
