Just went to toilet again..
The stool was solid and normal shape and everything and I let it fall on toilet paper again so I could inspect and no blood actually ON the stool but there was some light yellowy brown mucus* on the paper and I saw small traces of blood in that
**The mucus wouldn't have been noticeable in the bowl, it was just because I inspected it I noticed it and it wasn't much
I know it's tough, but you need to quit inspecting your faeces. There's nothing you can do now, so these checks are just making you work yourself up more.
Flush and Go, Toby! Pointless tormenting yourself now when you have your appointment on Friday. You'll get an opportunity to talk to an expert on all things faecal then.
Are you sure it was blood and not something else?

try to resist the compulsion to look. It fueling your fire over and over. Flush before you get up but be prepared for spinkles.
It’s a cruel beast that you feed…..

"The stool was very hard and lumpy and there was one larger lumpy one"
You're constipated, drink more water, eat more fiber poop isn't supposed to be hard and lumpy, and the hard poop may have scraped against your anal wall and caused a bit of a bleed, it happens.
