Re: Have I got rectal cancer?

Over the past week Ive been feeling a little off, which is probably due to my diet cause it’s regressed again and I eat a lot of junk and I think that reflects my mood, but I’ve just been feeling nauseous a lot. That’s also a side effect of sertraline but the nausea is very recent and my sertraline side effects started a bit before

Its probably diet related but I can’t help but thinking it could be something more sinister

Toby - this is all self inflicted. We can't help you - you need professional help and intervention.

It is not healthy to keep doing what you are doing and then posting on here about it so please get some help

    Toby,

I think you need to mention this to your GP. I'm not sure what others think on here but I suspect they will just monitor you more, especially given you starting a SSRI.

You've got a bit of an escalation of behaviour here but it's not a new thing to me as it consider it a bit like why you posted pictures of parts of your body on here. Yes, what you are now doing does bring some health risks with it and you need to try your best to stop this because it comes down to you here. I will also say some perspective is needed as people shove stuff up their bottoms for reasons of pleasure, things much bigger and with vigorous effort, but this is still moving up into more destructive compulsions (like those who bleach their hands).

I think your GP would be wise to assess you over this. These meds can do some strange things to us. I had times on my current one where my adrenaline ramped up so much I wanted to get into physical fights and I had to take myself away from people and burn it off with some exercise. But you are more in the mire right now than I was at that point and I think you need you people in real life helping you with your behaviours whilst they monitor whether the meds are playing any part in this.

I’m going back to the gp in about 2 weeks to talk about the meds after my month’s worth of them run out- thanks for the concern everyone, I haven’t stuck anything inside of me since yesterday. And yup Terry the most annoying thing is, I can’t tell what’s caused by the meds and what isn’t (ie. nausea)

I’ve had a calmer day today but I recently wrecked that by forcing myself to google and read bowel cancer horror stories. I didn’t want to but something in my mind was forcing me and wouldn’t let me relax until I did it

This is becoming so horrific to have to cope with :(

I suspect I have some form of OCD

I wasn’t relaxed as in relieved but it’s like something inside of me wouldn’t rest until I googled

Toby I used to take the med you are on, side effects, are dizziness, sleepiness, blurred vision, nausea, diarrhea, I thought you went and got checked and they gave you the all clear do you know if you keep sticking things up your rectum you can do some damage up there then you would really have a series issue going on like toxic shock and infection, or tear a bowel or colon, STOP IT, get mental help you do not have cancer, this is getting way out of hand and way too much, I think you have OCD in a big way,

Thanks, there are still a few side effects but the nausea and diarrhoea have gone now

Today I started worrying about secondhand smoke- my granddad always used to smoke inside from a pipe all throughout my childhood and me and my sisters used to go to his house every Saturday for about 14 years. I remember sometimes as a stupid kid breathing in the smoke on purpose

What if this caused colon cancer?

    Absolute ROT, Toby!

You're really clutching at straws now. We've all been exposed to some form of pollution in our lives and that hasn't led to colon cancer
