I'm going on a family holiday (in the UK) in a couple of days so I'll have to wait until after that to get seen.
I really feel like either something (that I've had since I started this thread in August 2018) has spread from my mid/lower bowel and into my rectum, or something new has just grown in my rectum (the latter seems unlikely but I don't want to jinx it.)
In May 2019, the bowel specialist performed a rigid sigmoidoscopy examination and didn't see anything... but that was over 2 years ago now, so something could've grown.
I also had to pee earlier, and it was just a little bit (I hate not having an empty bladder, so I make myself go even if I'm not desperate and just have a small urge - that probably sounds weird but I promise it's not), but I felt like I had to put more effort in to get it out.... could that be a tumor squeezing the urinary tract, blocking the flow?

Knock it off, Toby.

I worried about this exact same thing when I went through my bowel worries a few years ago - well, a tumour pressing on the bladder to be exact. I asked the doc, who had started to get a little bit impatient after my many visits, who then scoffed and said 'absolutely not, and for me to sort out whats going upstairs'.
You're fine.
Regarding the lump, most likely a pile. I had a few some months ago. Get it checked out if you want to, but try and fight it to avoid getting into that cycle of doctor appointments again.

The former doesn't seem very likely either Toby!
And this ^^^^^^ is why..In May 2019, the bowel specialist performed a rigid sigmoidoscopy examination and didn't see anything...
There was nothing to see, so no cancer.
No. It's the stress response purging urine because your body is in fight or flight mode. The reason being is that you are scaring yourself silly with imagined diseases when the most likely cause will be a pile..I also had to pee earlier, and it was just a little bit (I hate not having an empty bladder, so I make myself go even if I'm not desperate and just have a small urge - that probably sounds weird but I promise it's not), but I felt like I had to put more effort in to get it out.... could that be a tumor squeezing the urinary tract, blocking the flow?
Go to see the doctor who will snap on the marigolds, have a good furk around your rectum, and most likely tell you to go and buy some Anusol..
A thought is harmless unless we believe it.
TMI alert
Thanks everyone. These replies helped me a lot while I was on holiday. I stopped worrying for a little bit until two days ago when I ate like a PIG (my bad), and then felt ill for the whole day and made like 15 trips to the bathroom that night. I also had an unbearably painful anal fissure and there was some bright red blood on the paper.
But today I was feeling for any lumps inside my rectum, and when I pulled my finger out, there was a trace of mucousy blood (that didn't look fresh) on my finger. And then when I wiped to see if it was the outside of my anus that was the problem, it was like a normal mucousy color, but tinged with red. I put my finger inside again and the same stuff was inside... you could tell it was tinged with blood.
Something is bleeding and discoloring the mucus inside my rectum... could it be a tumor or polyp?
It could definitely be piles because I was straining more than ever the other night, but I haven't passed a BM today, and don't piles only bleed when you have a number 2? They don't bleed on their own, right?
If you are putting your finger up your bum and you don't know what you are doing, is it any surprise you are bleeding? The area is sensitive. It is not uncommon to bleed after putting anything up there (including anal sex), could the bleeding be self inflicted through all your checking behaviors? you have had scans and this has been going on for a long time without getting worse. As people have previously said, cancer gets worse and you cant ignore it.
You really need to see a doctor it is clear no amount of reassurance on this forum is gonna help you. I have been there I know its hard but you are fine.
Toby I had exactly those same symptoms feelings, last month, felt a lump guess what it was, a hemmi, yep know what made it go away, not straining to go poo, eating fiber, drinking lots of water and not sitting for long periods of time. Mine went away after a week, and I haven't had one since
